January 2, 2022 – Photoblog

Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022.

It was chill, like Sundays always are. Spent most of the day writing (finishing up my Master Thesis) (yeah I’ve been doing this masters for like 3 years, why don’t you hop over to a foreign country and work yourself through grad school?) I get a little defensive, I’m sorry.

Mostly, though, I was mentally prepping for the new job tomorrow, and getting jazzed about the ancestry kit I’ll be sending out tomorrow as well. The picture above is from my point of view, looking directly into a neighbor’s apartment, and watching as he opens incognito mode and closes the curtains. We share a kinship, him and I. Then I gazed upon the many plants which only simulate an open-air freedom, and wondered what the hell I’m gonna do about dress shirts until payday, since all but two of them have mysteriously shrunk just by sitting on the hanger. I’m excited, a bit nervous, and actually about to head to bed at a decent hour (11:15 pm).

Here’s hoping whatever you have cooking up this year is already going well for you. We’ll find out by 5 pm tomorrow whether it’s going well for me. Sunday, the day of rest. Hope you had a good one.

See you tomorrow.

Nick
